~ Every Mothers Day, Canadian Baptists across the country come together for a very special reason: Solidarity Sunday. This symbolic event enables us to stand in unity with our brothers and sisters in need around the world.

This year we are focusing on Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim nation, where over 40 percent of the population lives below the poverty line. We want to raise support for dedicated men and women who are committed to sharing God’s love in word and deed, even in places that are difficult to reach.

Through Solidarity Sunday, you can help them. Funds raised will better equip a remarkable group of men and women in Indonesia. You can help develop and support these dedicated leaders.

~ Les Biggs will be attending the “Van Gelder Consultation” On May 6th & 7th at Carey Theological College in Vancouver.
