~ We welcome Daniel McDougall as our guest speaker this morning and throughout the entire Advent season, with the exception of December 13th, which is our Drama event. We pray that the Lord uses Daniel’s message to help prepare our hearts throughout this Advent season to receive God’s greatest gift ever given to mankind – His son Jesus. For more information on the schedule of guest speakers, please talk to Ryan.

~ Our Christmas Drama will be on Sunday morning, December 13th, during the regular service time. There will be a light lunch served right after the service and we ask that you bring a non-perishable food offering for the Mustard Seed at this time.

~ Today is the first Sunday of Advent. Tonight will be an evening of music, fellowship, dessert and celebration! Please invite family, friends and neighbours to come out and join us at 6:30 p.m. Please remember to bring a favourite dessert to share, if you were asked to bring one.

~ The Baptist Women Christmas Jam, Jelly and Pie Sale will be held after the service on Sunday, December 6th. This has become a great fundraiser for the Baptist Women so come prepared to purchase that day!

~ A special thank you to the Social Committee for the wonderful lunch put on last week! The soups were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and the fellowship is, of course, also one of the highlights! Many thanks for your hard work!

~ Candle Light Advent Service and Dessert will be next week Sunday evening, November 29th. Dessert will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the Advent service follows at 7:30 p.m.

~ Fellowship Lunch – After the service today, everyone is welcome to join us for a lunch of delicious homemade soups and desserts. If you are a first-time guest, we encourage you to stay and also eat and fellowship with us. There’s plenty for everyone!

~ Advent Service and Dessert will be on the evening of November 29th. Dessert will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the Advent service follows at 7:30 p.m.

~ Attention Baby Lovers! The nursery is looking for volunteers to watch babies and toddlers aged 0-3 from the beginning of the service up to the children’s time. If you are interested and willing to help, please speak to Alison or Sam.

~ Committee Chairs – please submit budget proposal for the 2010 year to the Chair of the Finance Committee (Velma Ryder) or place it in the Finance Committee mailbox. The Finance Committee would also like a projection of spending for the remainder of the year. Both of these items are needed by November 15th.
