Announcements for July 25th, 2010

~ Les Biggs began his vacation this week. Les will be back in the office on August 17. During his time off, all church related matters requiring attention may be directed to our Moderator, Greg Hatton. Items for the bulletin should be given to Adriana Hatton by 11 a.m. on Friday mornings. Adriana is in the office from 9:30 to 3:00 p.m. on Fridays.

~ The Keats Camps Summer Schedule is posted on the bulletin board. This is a CBWC camp that is reaching out to Vancouver Island while Sylvan Acres Camp is undergoing changes

~ Surviving the Single Parent Jungle is another helpful course offered through South Island Centre for Counselling and Training. Please see the poster on the bulletin board. This course is available to all regardless of whether they can pay the full amount or not. Registration is limited so please have those interested sign up soon. Free child-minding is available during the course hours.

~ Ladies, there are still containers and other items in the kitchen, left over from the Strawberry Tea. Please take a look to see if any belong to you and take them home to avoid clutter. There are names or initials on some of them. Thank you.

~ Photos Wanted: If anyone took photos or knows of guests who took photos at the recent Strawberry Tea, including the Lobby tables, please contact Anne Jarvis.

~ There is no one signed up for the entire month of August for the Coffee Hour. Please speak to Joan Christensen or Adriana Hatton or just sign up if you can do anything over the next few weeks. This is the last Sunday we have anyone signed up. Thanks!
