~ Adult Sunday School happens at 10:00 a.m. The topic for this class is the book of Esther. Everyone is welcome.

~ Elk Lake Baptist Church wishes to hire a part time youth leader (10 hours per month) for a group of early teens and nearly teens who are eager to be part of a youth group experience. ~ The Easter Drama will be on Palm Sunday (March 28th) during the morning service. There will be a soup and sandwich lunch after the drama (with thanks to the Social Committee).

~ Deacons’ Denney‘s Easter Breakfast on Easter Sunday morning, April 4th, starting at 9:59 am. Your Deacons will be serving you breakfast on Easter Sunday morning. Come and enjoy a multiple option breakfast before a wonderful time of worship on Resurrection Sunday. Please let Rick Downe know if you are planning to attend!

~ The Sylvan Acres Ministry Board of Directors is seeking to fill the position of Executive Director for Sylvan Acres Ministry. See the bulletin board for more info.

~ Ten Thousand Villages (Broadmead) is a not-for-profit retail outlet for third world artisans (sponsored by MCC.) Ten Thousand Villages is hosting an Oriental Rug Event featuring heirloom quality, hand-knotted Fair Trade rugs from Pakistan. See bulletin board for more info.

~ The Social Committee will be organizing an Easter Potluck to be held on Saturday, April 17th, at 5:30 p.m. Please see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board to indicate what you would like to bring.

~ Attention all Ladies! It’s spring and Easter’s coming. We would like to, just for Easter Sunday, revive the old tradition of wearing a “spring bonnet” for the Easter service. So, ladies, dig in your wardrobe for a vintage hat, or buy yourself a new hat covered in flowers, birds or whatever you can find, and get yourself into the spring spirit by wearing some sort of bonnet on Easter morning! Looking forward to seeing you all in your spring finery!
