~ Adult Sunday School is on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. Bible character studies are the focus. Everyone is welcome! Speak to Rick Downe for more information.
~ Les Biggs is on Sabbatical from October 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009. During the Sabbatical, Ryan Johnston will be in the Church Office on Fridays. Leave a message on Ryan’s cell to reach him mid-week (250) 884-7583.
~ Ryan Johnston will be preaching next Sunday. For more information on the schedule of guest speakers, please talk to Ryan.
~ Advent Choir Practice – For those in the advent choir, please meet at 12:30 p.m. after the service for a practice in the Sanctuary.
~ Fellowship Lunch – After the service on November 15th, everyone is welcome to join us for a lunch of delicious homemade soups and desserts.
~ Operation Christmas Child! This is the last week. Please return the boxes NEXT Sunday, November 15th!
~ Committee Chairs – please submit budget proposal for the 2010 year to the Chair of the Finance Committee (Velma Ryder) or place it in the Finance Committee mailbox. The Finance Committee would also like a projection of spending for the remainder of the year. Both of these items are needed by November 15th.
~ Advent Service and Dessert will be on the evening of November 29th. Dessert will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the Advent service follows at 7:30 p.m. Start inviting friends now!
~ Attention Baby Lovers! The nursery is looking for volunteers to watch babies and toddlers aged 0-3 from the beginning of the service up to the children’s time. If you are interested and willing to help, please speak to Alison or Sam.
~ The next church Prayer Event will be this coming Wednesday, November 11th at 4:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to spend time with God and with each other.
