Of course working together sounds great, but making it happen can be quite a bit more difficult. The stopping off point is the moving of the announcing of God's kingdom squarely into the laps of each person who is following Jesus. I think in the midst of the committee work it can be easy to compartmentalize who does what and how each committee fulfills its roles. So, moving towards seeing each committee's work as feeding into the one purpose of announcing the kingdom of God is a good way to remember that we really are all part of the body of Christ and working towards the same goal.
